I extend our warmest greetings as the new chapter Recording Secretary and from our newly elected GP, Kathan Raju. It’s a privilege to bring you the latest chapter news for the fall/winter of 23-24. This semester has seen our fraternity continue its proud legacy with a full house of 80 sophomores and juniors living in plus and additional 120 active members living around campus.
Last week we were honored to initiate 24 new members which solidifies our chapter as one of the largest Greek fraternities here at Indiana University. During the fall rush we had over 800 rushes come though the chapter house. The newly initiated brothers have shown a lot of enthusiasm and commitment to Phi Psi and have already made a significant impact on our community. We want to build off the deep fulfillment in the brotherhood that’s been cultivated over the past few years and the strides we’ve made together so far this fall. We now are looking forward to another great spring recruitment! On top of this, November is a big month for philanthropy here in Bloomington as the Indiana University Dance Marathon took place this past weekend, and the brothers of Indiana Beta were able to raise $3825! We are very excited to continue our philanthropic endeavors by hosting our annual “Phi Psi Rodeo” event here in the coming weeks.
The chapter’s culture of dedication to Indiana Beta complements our ongoing mission, and we encourage our alumni to connect with us, offering life insights and referrals for future potential brothers. Our 20 newly elected executive team and committee chairs have fully transitioned to their roles and we promise to continue to improve upon chapter academics, leadership, and service. Our preparation and vision assure us that the chapter’s future is in capable hands. The Indiana Beta Chapter stands as a beacon of excellence on campus, continuously building upon our robust foundation. Our commitment to growth ensures our status as a leading fraternity at the university. Eagerly anticipating what’s ahead, we remain united in our motto: *High High High!*
