Nurturing Leadership & Excellence
Dear Indiana Beta Brotherhood,
As we enjoy the beautiful Autumn on our Bloomington campus, it brings us great pleasure to share the exciting developments and achievements that Indiana Beta has experienced in the current semester. Our Fraternity is not just a residence; it’s a thriving brotherhood community, and we are delighted to witness its continuous growth and success.
Indiana Beta stands tall with a full chapter house boasting 80 live-ins, supplemented by an additional 120+ active undergraduates living on campus. Under the leadership of GP Owen VanHess and VGP Andrew Maher, our leadership team exemplifies a steadfast passion and commitment to elevating Indiana Beta to the status of a premier Greek house on Indiana University’s campus. Their dedication is reflected in the strategic goals set for the chapter, focusing on Brotherhood, GPA, Philanthropy, Community Service, and Campus Leadership.
The brotherhood recently concluded the initiation of 24 new brothers, a testament to our commitment to maintaining a balanced mix of freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors in our chapter house. Our alumni advisory team recently conducted a 3-hour Introduction to Leadership Program attended by 22-chapter leaders. This learning initiative is crucial to building a sustainable leadership culture within Indiana Beta, fostering brotherhood trust, working through productive conflict, and personal accountability/integrity.
As we transition into the winter season, our Little 500 bike team, led by our passionate 7th-year Coach Dan Gaz, is gearing up for their annual rigorous training season, aiming for victory on Race day, Saturday, April 20, 2024.
