We know that many of you still feel a strong connection to Indiana Beta—your pledge brothers, your time at IU, and the chapter that helped shape your life. Being a Phi Psi didn’t just give us a house – it gave us a home. It gave us friendships that have stood the test of time, leadership experiences that shaped our careers, and values that continue to guide us today.
That same life-changing experience is still happening every day for the next generation of Indiana Beta brothers.
Since being re-chartered in 2017, we’ve heard from alumni across the country who are eager to do more than write a check. They want to engage, connect, and give back in a meaningful way. Now, you can—by becoming a Mentor and/or Speaker.
Becoming a Mentor
Our mentoring program will connect undergraduates with alumni who can offer career guidance, leadership advice, and life experience. As a mentor, you’ll help shape the path of a young brother by offering support, perspective, and encouragement—just a few hours a month.
Serve as a Speaker
Whether solo or as part of a panel, speaking to undergraduates offers a powerful way to share your story—your wins, your lessons, and your journey. One evening, one conversation, one story could change the course of someone’s life.
What’s the Time Commitment?
We know your time is valuable. That’s why both opportunities are designed to be flexible and manageable:
- Mentorship: About 2–3 hours per month, at a schedule that works for you and your mentee.
- Speaking Engagements: Just 90 minutes, once or twice per year.
Your Story. Your Time. Their Future.
Studies today show that today’s undergraduates—and college students in general—need practical and real face-to-face connections with role models who’ve been where they’re going. By stepping up as a mentor or speaker, you’ll have a lasting impact on their lives, while helping ensure that Indiana Beta remains a place “Where Men Excel.”
